The hotel is somewhat isolated, being tucked away along small backroads. Finding suitable dining options nearby is a challenge, with Ammanford lacking variety. nearby Llandeilo offers better choices, but it's not within walking distance. Exploring the surrounding attractions, like Castell Carreg Cennen, requires a bit of travel as well.

Staying at The Mill was a real treat. The room was superb, featuring a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, and refrigerator. I loved the private entrance, which gave me easy access to the outdoor seating area. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection, including a full English and fresh croissants. I particularly enjoyed the homey touches, like fresh milk in the fridge and a jar of sweets. the wifi connection was a bit unreliable. I lost it a few times during my stay. the location felt somewhat isolated, making it tricky to find nearby dining options. The area is beautiful, but exploring attractions like Castell Carreg Cennen required extra planning.

The breakfast was fantastic, offering a beautifully prepared full English that included exceptionally cooked mushrooms. Both Helen and Matthew were attentive and went above and beyond, making sure we felt at home during our stay. Our room was tastefully decorated with lovely views, and the little jar of snack bars was a delightful surprise.

Room was super comfy with all the essentials like a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, and free toiletries. The private entrance and outdoor furniture were nice touches. The shower was great too!
